Farm Aid 2007 Tickets

The roster for Farm Aid 2007: A Homegrown Festival keeps getting bigger. Organizers have announced a bunch of new acts for the September 9 event on Randall's Island in New York City.Ray Price, Merle Haggard Danielle Evin, Jesse Lenat, Jimmy Sturr, Pauline Reese, Billy Joe Shaver and Paula Nelson will join Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Gregg Allman.




Farm Aid 2007 started as a benefit concert on September 22, 1985, in Champaign, Illinois, held to raise money for family farmers in the United States. The concert was organized by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young.

Ben Harper Tickets

Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminalshas have announced dates for a North American jaunt to promote the band's latest album, Lifeline. The tour kicks off September 1 at Macky Auditorium in Boulder, Colo., and features stops in well-known theatres across the country, including the Chicago Theatre (September 6), Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (September 12), Radio City Music Hall in New York City (September 15) and the Orpheum Theatre in Boston (September 23).




Ben Harper was born in Claremont, California, USA (in California's Pomona Valley). He began playing guitar as a child in Claremont. He eventually specialized in the acoustic slide guitar (Weissenborn guitars).

Paolo Nutini Tickets

Paolo Nutini has rearranged his itinerary after Amy Winehouse had to drop out of the pair's North American tour.
The 38-city trek follows about the same route as Nutini's tour with Winehouse would have and kicks off September 7 at the Ablright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, N.Y.
Other stops include Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vt. (September 10), Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin (September 14), The Wiltern in Los Angeles (September 21) and the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver (September 24).



Paolo Nutini is a Scottish singer/songwriter from Paisley. His father is of Italian descent, from Barga, Tuscany and his mother is Scottish.

Morrissey Tickets

Morrissey has announced a run of U.S. shows for the fall that features several multinight stops. Some of the new shows are make up dates for ones that were canceled last month when the singer was ill.
The new dates kick off September 21 at The Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. Other stops on the tour include the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, Ill. (October 17) and the Star Plaza Theatre in Merillville, Ind. (October 20).




Morrissey is an English singer and songwriter from Manchester. He rose to prominence in the 1980s as the lyricist and vocalist of the English band The Smiths.

Sheryl Crow Tickets

Sheryl Crow, Avril Lavigne and Fiona Apple will headline the new Girlfrenzy Music Festival. Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles and Antigone Rising round out the bill. Additional performers will be announced in the next few weeks. The October 27 event will be held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. A portion of the show's proceeds will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.




Sheryl Crow is a nine-time Grammy winning American blues rock singer, guitarist, bassist and songwriter. Her debut album, Tuesday Night Music Club, was released in 1993 and contains her most famous single "All I Wanna Do".

Bob Dylan Tickets

Bob Dylan, who is down under right now finishing up a tour of Australia and New Zealand, has announced a month of U.S. dates. Dylan will kick things off with a headlining performance September 16 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas. The singer's run of East Coast shows kicks off September 19 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and continues through the first week of October. Other highlights include stops at The Arena at Gwinnett Center near Atlanta (September 22),




Joining Dylan and his band for the U.S. tour are Amos Lee and Elvis Costello.

Arctic Monkeys Tickets

U.K. indie-rockers Arctic Monkeys have announced dates for a September swing through the U.S. and Canada as they continue to support their sophomore release, Favourite Worst Nightmare.
The tour kicks off September 5 on the Central Park SummerStage in New York City and will hit 19 cities in North America, including Virgin Festival at Toronto's Island Park (September 8) and the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago (September 12).




Arctic Monkeys are a Mercury Prize winning, English indie rock band from High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band currently consists of Alex Turner on lead vocals, Jamie Cook on guitar, Matt Helders on drums.
