Yankees Still In To Win

The New York Yankees are looking to take their ninth straight American League East title despite losses on the weekend.

The Yankees were swept in both weekend games by the Boston Red Sox in their last match up of the season. The loss means little, however, as the Yankees are only four wins away from taking the AL East crown and advancing closer to the World Series. In the National League, the New York Mets were also swept on the weekend by the Pittsburgh Pirates and will try to clinch their NL East title in home games this week.
