Chorus Line on the Charts

The Original Broadway Cast recording of A Chorus Line has leapt onto the newly created Billboard Top Cast Album Chart at #11.

The impressive charting for the original cast album prompts speculation that the current revival's recording, which is to be released on October 10, will enter the charts even higher. Topping the charts at the moment are the recordings of Wicked, Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia, which are all in their eleventh week on the chart. Rounding out the current top five albums are Tarzan and The Color Purple.
