New Drowsy Cast

The Drowsy Chaperone will welcome three new leading ladies in the coming months to join their Tony Award-winning cast.

The hit Broadway musical will see two cast changes in April when Jo Anne Worley assumes the roles of Mrs. Tottendale and Janine LaManna fills the role of Janet Van De Graff. Worley is known for her work on television while LaManna is currently performing in Sweet Charity. The next cast change will come in the summer when Mara Davi takes on the role of Janet Van De Graff. Davi is currently onstage in A Chorus Line.

Juno Awards

The Canadian music industry is anticipating the biggest night of the year as the annual Juno Awards show approaches.

The event will be held at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday, April 1 to a live audience of music fans and celebrities. The night will be hosted by Nelly Furtado and recognize musicians in a variety of genres. Ten artists are set to perform at the show including The Tragically Hip and Billy Talent. All live performances are by musicians who have been nominated in at least one category.

WrestleMania

Wrestling fans will converge on Detroit, Michigan this week as the city prepares to host WrestleMania 23 on Sunday April 1.

The annual championship is hosted in a different city each year and features the top wrestlers in the WWE squaring off for a variety of titles. The theme songs for WrestleMania 23 are "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva and "The Memory Will Never Die" by Default. Aretha Franklin will perform at the opening of the event singing "America the Beautiful" in a reprise of her appearance twenty years earlier at WrestleMania III.

Jersey Boys in London

The Daily Mail has reported that the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys may be making a move to London's West End.

Producer Cameron Mackintosh, who is responsible for musicals including Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, would bring the show overseas to the Prince Edward Theatre by this time next year. If the transfer happens, the show will replace West End's Mary Poppins, which is likely bound for a national tour. Jersey Boys is currently playing at the August Wilson Theatre as well as being on a national tour.

Sasquatch Lineup

The annual Sasquatch! Music Festival is quickly approaching and over 50 artists have been announced on the lineup.

Bjork and the Beastie Boys have been scheduled as event headliners over the two-day event with a number of other high profile musicians also on the roster. The festival will take place on Memorial Day weekend at the outdoor Gorge venue in George, Washington. Other acts confirmed for Sasquatch! include Arcade Fire, Neko Case, Manu Chao and Interpol, who will perform on the festival's three stages.
