Queen Latifah Tickets

Queen Latifah, who is currently wowing audiences with her portrayal of Motormouth Maybelle in the motion picture version of the musical "Hairspray," has announced dates for a U.S. tour in support of her second album of standards, Trav'lin' Light. The Queen will kick off her trek September 29 at the Majestic Theater in Dallas and will spend the next two months hitting theatres around the country, including Playhouse Square in Cleveland (October 5), the Palace Theater in Stamford, Conn. (October 9), the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center in Delaware (October 12),

Trav'lin' Light, which is due for release September 25, is the follow up to 2004's Grammy nominated The Dana Owens Album.

Les Claypool Tickets

The impressive roster for The Echo Project music and arts festival continues to grow. Some of the latest additions to the list of more than 60 acts scheduled to perform at the eco-responsible event include The Flaming Lips, Thievery Corporation (with a full live band), Les Claypool, The Bravery, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and JJ Grey & Mofro.

The event will be held October 12-14 on 350-acres of scenic Chattahoochee river front property on the 1250-acre Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Ga. Festival organizers are also working with Sustainable Waves and Rivers Alive to launch a major cleanup of the Chattahoochee river prior to the festival.

Gwen Stefani Tickets
Gwen Stefani, who is currently completing a run of dates in Asia and is scheduled to hit Europe in the fall, has added a handful of West Coast shows to her Sweet Escape Tour. Following her European trek, Stefani will head back to the U.S. for half a dozen shows, beginning October 26 at The Pearl Concert Theatre at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas and finishing up November 8-9 at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

Gwen Stefani will play two nights at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Hawaii (August 24-25) at the end of her Asian tour before she heads to Europe.

Van Halen Tickets

There's a run on thermal underwear in Hell; the much rumored, on-again off-again Van Halen tour is finally a reality. The reunited band, featuring Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen and new bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, held a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles to announce the first set of dates.

Van Halen will launch their assault on North American arenas September 27 at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in North Carolina. Other tour highlights so far include stops at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia (October 1, the ACC in Toronto (October 7)and the Allstate Arena and United Center in Chicago.

Satellite Party Tickets

Satellite Party, Perry Farrell's latest project, is embarking on a 40 date tour of clubs and theatres across North America in support of the band's debut release Ultra Payloaded. The tour launched August 8 at the House of Blues in Cleveland and will make its way across the U.S. and Canada through the middle of October. Stops include Mr. Smalls Theater in Milwaukee (August 14) and the KRBZ Beach Ball radio show at the City Market in Kansas City, Mo. (August 19).

Satellite Party other members include Nick Perri, Carl Restivo, and Jordan Plosky and Etty Lau Farrell.
