Tony Parker scored 27 points in Thursday nights 85 - 76 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The San Antonio Spurs proved to be to much for Lebron James and the rest of the cavs, who will be looking to redeem themselves in game two of the NBA playoffs, Sunday night in San Antonio.

Fans will asked to pay more to see the LA Lakers next season. Courtside seats at the Staples Center and tickets in six lower level sections will increase in price by 4.5 percent.

Ticket to 'Rock The Bells'

Hip-hop festival, Rock the Bells, kicks off July 28th in New York City. The summer festival will feature headliners, Rage Against the Machine and Wu-Tang Clan for the first handful of dates. Nas will join Wu-Tang Clan to headline an additional 15 shows that will take the tour through late August.

Public Enemy, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will be a special guest on the trek, joining an impressive list of artists including, Cypress Hill, The Roots and EPMD.

Margaret Mitchell's classic, epic novel and film, 'Gone With the Wind' will debut as a musical in London's West End. British director Trevor Nunn, whose resume includes the hit musical, Cat's is scheduled to direct. The musical is currently set to open at London's New London Theatre, in the spring of 2008.

The 2007 Tony Awards, will be handed out June 10th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. In the running for best musical are, Mary Poppins, Curtains, Spring Awakening and Grey Gardens.

The premise for Ozzy Osbourne's yearly lineup of hard rock/metal bands, unofficially tagged as "Freefest", will still come at a price if you want the VIP treatment. Blocks of tickets to Ozzfest will be free as advertised but there will also be three levels of VIP packages.


The fest kicks off July 12th in Seattle, WA with confirmed acts, Lamb of God, Static-X, Hatebreed and Lordi, among others. Part of the money generated from the festival will go to Sharon Osbourne's cancer charity.

NHL Playoff Tickets

The Ottawa Senators 5-3 win at home on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks helped close the gap on what could have been a 3-0 series. The win means tickets to game four, tonight in Ottawa will be a hot commodity.


Senators goaltender, Ray Emery is making his first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals after playing backup to Dominik Hasek for the past 2 seasons. Following tonight's game the series will move back to Anaheim for game five, Wednesday night.

Las Vegas Tickets

61 year old diva, Bette Midler, is set to replace Celine Dion as the headliner at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She will be performing five nights a week beginning Feb.20, 2008. Dion virtually sold out the 4,100-seat Colosseum for what will be a nearly five-year run in December.


Elton John will continue with 50 shows a year through 2008, and although it has yet to be confirmed, it is widely speculated that Cher will be added as a third performer. Other upcoming events at Caesars palace include, comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Lionel Richie.

2007 NBA Playoff Update

On Monday night the San Antonio Spurs ended Utah's perfect home postseason with a 91-79 triumph. Last night turned out to be the final nail in the coffin with the Spurs knocking out the Utah Jazz four games to one making them the champions of the West.


The Eastern Conference Final between the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers is currently tied at 2 games apiece. Game five will be tonight in Detroit and game six in Cleveland on Saturday. The winner will have a date with the Spurs in the 2007 NBA Playoff Finals.
