European Music Festivals

It's officially summertime and you know what that means...it's festival season! A few of the many festivals happening throughout Europe in June include, Nova Rock from the 15th to the 17th, featuring Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and Linkin Park

The annual Glastonbury Festival from the 22nd to the 24th will see 150,000 music fans brought together in Somerset, England with artists, The Who and Rufus Wainwright scheduled to perform.

Boston Red Sox Season High

The Boston Red Sox, are off to the second best start in club history after 50 games with 35 W's and 15 losses placing them first not only in the East but in all of Major League Baseball, This weekends three game stretch against arch rivals the New York Yankees is speculated to be the official start of Roger Clemens 24th season in MLB and his return from retirement.

The San Francisco Giants will host the 2007 MLB Allstar Game at SBC Park. Red Sox DH, David Ortiz is expecteed to be voted in.

The Police & Genesis Reunion Tours

The Police, kick off their highly anticipated reunion tour tonight in Vancouver, BC. Rock trio Fiction Plane, fronted by Joe Sumner, son of Police singer/bassist Sting will hold down the tour's opening slot.

Nearly 40 years after Genesis first formed they are back with their own reunion tour. The band will open London's part of the Live Earth concerts on July 7th before performing their own show in Manchester that evening. Founding and former member Peter Gabriel will also be on tour in Europe this summer.
