Raptors vs. Grizzlies Tonight @ 7:00pm

Nov. 30th, 2005
TORONTO (Ticker) - Coming off his best game of the season, Pau Gasol tries to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to their third straight win Wednesday when they square off against the struggling Toronto Raptors. Gasol scored a season-high 36 points, shooting 13-of-23 from the floor, in the Grizzlies' 112-98 triumph in Dallas on Saturday. The 7-foot Spaniard added 15 rebounds and five assists as Memphis snapped a nine-game road losing streak.

Damon Stoudamire had 22 points and eight assists and Bobby Jackson chipped in 15 points off the bench for the Grizzlies, who shot a sizzling 54 percent (41-of-74) from the field.

Meanwhile, the opening month to the season has been a total nightmare for the Raptors, who lost their fifth straight game, 93-91, at Dallas on Monday.

Chris Bosh had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Mike James added 22 points for Toronto, which tied the game on Matt Bonner's jumper with two seconds left but Dallas' Jason Terry answered with a floater at the buzzer to win the game.

The Grizzlies took both meetings between the teams last season, including a 104-74 win here on April 6 behind 26 points from Gasol. The 30-point victory set a Memphis franchise record for victory margin in a road game.
