Working with Lennon

Sean Lennon will be on the road for a string of tour dates to close out the year in support of his sophomore album Friendly Fire.

The son of iconic musician John Lennon will tour Europe before moving to North America in mid-November where Jim Noir will join him for most December dates. Friendly Fire was recorded with a slew a celebrity guests including Lindsay Lohan and Bijou Phillips. Lennon frequently works with other artists and has collaborated in the past with Ben Lee, Jurassic 5 and Lenny Kravitz, among many others.

Bull Riding World Finals

Cowboys will be saddling up today in Las Vegas for the first day of events at the Professional Bull Riders World Finals.

Entertainment at the rodeo will include a variety of bull riding events and musical performances by numerous artists including Robert Earl Keen and Pat Green. Events will take place at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Theatre and Thomas & Mack Center. Rodeo will continue in the following weeks with the Canadian Finals Rodeo set to take place from November 8 - 12 in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Grinch Greets the Stage

Previews of the holiday musical How the Grinch Stole Christmas begin today at the Hilton Theatre on Broadway.

The Dr. Seuss classic will be brought to life by a cast including stage veteran Patrick Page who most recently appeared as Scar in The Lion King. The Grinch will join a select group of other green-faced characters currently starring on Broadway including Wicked's Elphaba and Avenue Q's Nicky. How the Grinch Stole Christmas will officially open on November 8 and play through to January 7.

Timberlake Tour

Justin Timberlake has confirmed dates in early 2007 for the North American leg of his SexyBack World Tour.

Timberlake, who kicks off his North American jaunt on January 8 in San Diego, will visit more than 30 cities across the continent over three months. The tour will feature a round stage for 360 degree views at the arena venues and will feature Pink as the supporting act. Also preparing for a world tour is Timberlake's fellow mouseketeer Christina Aguilera who hits North America in early February 2007.

World Series

The World Series is here and baseball fans can expect a fight to the finish with the series tied after Game 2.

The biggest event in Major League Baseball was evened out yesterday as the Detroit Tigers clawed back to win Game 2 and tie the series yesterday on home field at Comerica Park. The St. Louis Cardinals will have their chance to rebuke tomorrow as play moves to Busch Stadium for Game 3. The rest of this week will decide the new champions with the final Game 7 to be played on October 29, if necessary.
