Golf


The 2007 Solheim Cup, is the premiere event in women's golf. Annika Sorenstam holds a record 21 points scored at the 2005 Cup, her sister Charlotta is the current lead at the Corning Classic.

This years US Open will also be a family affair. Arnold Palmer's grandson failed to advance but Phil Mickelson's brother, Tim, and Camilo Villegas's brother, Manuel, each advanced. The 2007 British Open will feature the 2007 Masters champion, Zach Johnson and golfing phenom, Tiger Woods.

CMA Music Festival


The annual CMA Music Festival will take place in Nashville, Tennessee from June 7th through to the 10th. Confirmed artists include, former Dancing With The Stars contestant, Sara Evans, Dierks Bentley, arguably the hardest working man in country music and the always popular Alan Jackson.

Bentley will also perform at this years Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee along with a slew of other artists including, The White Stripes, Ben Harper and Bob Weir with Ratdog Keller Williams.

Stanley Cup Finals

The Anaheim Ducks prevailed in the Western Conference Championship last night and will now face the Ottawa Senators in the Stanley Cup Finals, set to begin May 28th in Anaheim.

The Ducks defeated the Minnesota Wild and the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Last nights 4-3 victory eliminated the Detroit Red Wings and secured a spot in the finals. Ottawa took out the Pittsburgh Penguins and the New Jersey Devils in five games apiece before eliminating the Buffalo Sabres in the third round.

Bjork


Icelandic singer/songwriter Bjork is currently touring in support of her latest album, 'Volta'. On May 26th she will headline the Sasquatch Music Festival at popular outdoor venue, The Gorge near Seattle, Washington. Joining her at the two day festival are, Manu Chao, The Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys and many more.

On July 1st she will join bands, Bloc Party and LCD Soundsystem at the Heineken Opener Festival, at Gydinia in Poland. The Festival opens on June 29th with Sonic Youth and The Roots.
