Ryan Adams Plays Again

Ryan Adams has announced a two-week long U.S. tour this summer after a number of concert cancellations last year due to health problems.

The outspoken rocker released a stunning total of three records in 2005 but has only played a few gigs since releasing the new material. He will hit the road again beginning in New Jersey on July 20 and include a performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Adams will also be appearing in Los Angeles on September 10 in a concert with Willie Nelson.

Dirty Rotten Tour

Casting for the national tour of Broadway's hit production, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, has been announced.

The show about two crooks swindling in the French Riviera, will begin its tour at Seattle's Paramount Theatre on August 6. The touring production will star Tom Hewitt, who has had roles in major productions including The Lion King. His co-stars will include Laura Marie Duncan and Norbert Leo Butz, who has previously performed in Broadway shows including Wicked and Rent.

Game. Set. Match.

The third, and most renowned, Grand Slam tournament of the year will begin next week when the ball is served at Wimbledon.

Tennis fanatics around the world will be watching as the matches begin on June 26 and run until July 9 at the famed championship in England. The next Grand Slam tournament will be the US Open in New York, which is scheduled to begin in late August. In the meantime, tennis players on the WTA can keep in top form at California's Acura Classic in late July.

Babs is Back

The funny girl has returned with Barbra Streisand announcing concert dates for her first US tour since 1994.

Barbra Streisand: The Concert Tour will kick off October 4 in Philadelphia and run through November with 20 performances scheduled in major cities across the US. As her supporting act, Streisand will have the multi-platinum quartet, Il Divo, who are currently the voices of the FIFA World Cup's official song "Time Of Our Lives" with R&B singer Toni Braxton.

NBA Finals

Miami is turning up the heat as the NBA Finals intensify and the competition is fierce.

After the weekend's nail-biting game 5, the Miami Heat solidified their comeback in the Finals winning their third consecutive game to edge ahead of the Dallas Mavericks with the series' standings at 3-2. The Mavericks will make another push for the championship this week with the series moving back to home court in Dallas on Tuesday night for game 6.
