The History Boys Continue

The production that swept the 2006 Tony Awards has just announced it is to extend its Broadway run.

The History Boys will extend its hugely successful run at the Broadhurst Theatre to close on Oct. 1 rather than the originally scheduled closing date of Sept. 3. The production can't run longer than Oct. 1 as the theatre is already booked for the revival of Les Miserables. The History Boys received the most nods the 2006 Tony Awards, beating out productions including The Drowsy Chaperone and Jersey Boys.
