Tony Awards

The 60th annual Tony Awards were presented last night in New York with some international surprises.

The big winner for the night was playwright Alan Bennett's British production of The History Boys. The English schoolroom drama took away six awards. Close behind was the Canadian-born comedy The Drowsy Chaperone with five awards. The American production about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Jersey Boys, walked away with four awards.
