The Wedding Singer

Constantine Maroulis has just announced that he will join the cast of the Broadway musical adaptation of The Wedding Singer.

The American Idol finalist will stay with the production for an 8-week run beginning in early September. Maroulis will be stepping into the role of Sammy, the dimwitted friend of the title character Robbie Hart, played by Stephen Lynch. A New York native, Maroulis was one of the top twelve contestants on the 2005 season of American Idol.
