The Nascar Nextel Cup is speeding closer to the chase for the cup with a string of races scheduled for the coming weeks.

This weekend, the Nextel Cup series will continue in Phoenix, Arizona with the Subway Fresh 500 set to take place at Phoenix International Speedway. The excitement will continue next weekend when the races head to Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama for Aaron's 499. Kicking off the month of May will be the Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Speedway.
