Arizona quartet Jimmy Eat World have announced they'll take a break from working on the follow up to 2004's Futures to hit the road and test some new material. The band will kick things off with a 12-city swing through the U.S. beginning July 18 at the Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, N.M. Other Stateside stops include the Granada Theatre in Lawrence, Kan. (July 20), the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee (July 24) and the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tenn. (July 28).
Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World said "We have learned a lot making this album and hopefully, we will not take so long between records again".
